Dinosaur Day @ Newark Museum

Featured this year will be a 15 foot long, animatronic ‘Mighty T-Rex’ provided by Jerseysaurus, who will interact with the audiences. Families will have the opportunity to make fossil rubbings, dig for fossils, join in live animal presentations, and sluice for gemstones. Geologists and engineers from Rutgers University, Kean University, NSF, Exxon Mobile, the New Jersey Paleontological Society and the US Geological Survey will also be on hand to share what modern geologists learn about dinosaurs and the history of the Earth.
